Join artist Sarah Pinkerton on a creative journey of reverence and gratitude in Bucerías, Mexico. Discover the Latin American folk art tradition of retablos while you learn mixed media and assemblage techniques. By the end of the workshop you’ll have created a 3-panel wood retablo reflecting your worldview, ready to display on a wall or table.

The Instructor

Sarah is the founder and creative director of See Three Studios, a multidisciplinary design studio based in Bucerías, Mexico. After a 20 year career in art education, she made the transition back to her first love: surface pattern design. She studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, graduating with a BFA in Fine Arts with an emphasis on Textile Design.
